15-Minute Garlic Butter Noodles
The fastest, most satisfying weeknight noodles. Five ingredients, one pan, zero excuses.
Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- 2
While the noodles cook, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant — do not let it brown.
- 3
Add the soy sauce and chili crisp to the skillet and swirl to combine.
- 4
Add the drained noodles to the skillet along with a splash of pasta water. Toss for 1-2 minutes until everything is glossy and coated.
- 5
Top with scallions and sesame seeds. Eat immediately, ideally standing at the stove.
Notes
I make these noodles when I have approximately zero patience and approximately one appetite. The chili crisp is the move — don’t skip it if you can help it.
